Like the handlebars on it - reminds me of a 500 Suzuki 2 stroke I once had.

Shaun, I really think you need to have a good think about what you are already achieving, you seam to be on a constant search for something new.

like you constantly remind us ::) ::) you were the first to get a glide, you bought the H/M glidemaster now you want the RX

just be happy with what you've got, do you think you can clean carpets  any better with these new toys?. You do a good job already, keep your money for other things.

Missus wants it!
Tax man wants it!
Kids want it!

If I can find a way of taking it with me I would.

You asked on ICS about the knock off RX20.cause   you cant afford the real thing. You get what you pay for Shaun. It's £2.3 K and it's a once only purchase, surely if any business can afford this - yours can ?.

I don't like throwing money away but like to look at new products, what is best? well isn't that upto the person who uses it?

I do very little commercial so a £2300 RX is going to be sat in my garage which I hate as I like my garage floor to be clear, but perhaps you are right, biting the bullet could just be the best thing.

PS anyone got a Cimex for sale ;D

Shaun,
Your accountant should be encouraging you to spend money. And I think you would use the RX20HE more than you think. It's an indispensable machine. Although some owners may disagree, they either don't have the work for them or are simply not putting them to their full purpose/use.

If my business affairs were straight forward ie just carpet cleaning I'd agree but what I don't spend on cc I can off set to somewhere else.

I've been wanting an RX20 for some years though and I believe Dave Lee has one for £750 :o

Dream on Shaun. If I was desperate for cash and had to sell something the RX20 would be one of the last things to go.
I can understand your hesitation regarding some purchases, as I know you dont like credit and usually pay cash for things, but like you say sometimes you just have to "Bite the bullet", I did.

Looking at your purchase Dave you bit on a Cannon not a bullet, back to the thread this new rota vac looks more like the Prochem power Glide or should I say orphan as Glyn and I once refured to them. Great on carpets with underlay but crap on flat face carpets tiles and stuck down jobbies. :'(
Still have my powerglide to this day or should I say mossy has in his garage.
Speaking of which its about time Paul you gave it to Chris to bring down to me. ;D
