Agitation of Low Profile Carpet
« on: February 11, 2008, 03:54:56 pm »
Hi,
I have a huge contract to clean 7 commercial properties.  Mostly very low profile carpet or carpet tiles.  I have done lots of tiles before, using HWE, and only had problems with dirt wicking.

Because of this, I will be buying a bonnet mopper to clean any wicking up after I HWE.

I was wondering if I could use the rotary machine to agitate my microsplitters before I clean, as the carpets are dirty and I only have a Sebo Duo which is too light to do any good.

Any thoughts on this?  If I did it, what sort of brush or pad would I use for agitating.

Yep, you can use a rotory to agitate M/S or Any prespray, you can buy a carpet rotory scrub brush or use a bonnet.

Thanks.  On the whole issue of carpet tiles and dirt wicking etc, after I HWE the carpet, how long would I wait to bonnet over it?  Can I do it before it drys, or do you have to wait.
