I'm looking to possibly buy a 34ft hybrid from gardiners.
Ive been using a fishing pole for my 3rd storey work and it's brilliant when working on block of flats for instance. But on most of my work which is domestic, the chopping and changing between poles is something I wanted to try and get away from. When my customers aren't in I need to hop over their rear gates to clean the backs and the fishing pole can be a bit fiddly. From previous posts I no the hybrid's colapsed length is also good when doing the ground floor.
Has anyone changed over for the same reasons and is it a good trade off against the lightness of the fishing pole? And are they durable enough?
Thanks Rob
I have a 28ft hybrid and they are good bits of kit, very durable. The closed length at that hight though isn't going to be that short, my 28ft is over 5ft closed. If you have a fishing pole for 3rd story work I would recommend a 17ft gf xtel for domestic, that is a little over 4 ft closed and is really useful for ground floor.
The 34 ft Hybrid is a good pole but unless you are cleaning 3rd or even 4th story all the time with it it's not really worth it seeing as you already have a fishing pole. The hybrids are light for what they are, but will be a lot heavier than the fishing pole.
