Tripping, slipping and warning signs.
« on: February 03, 2008, 10:52:54 pm »
Hi all, just wanted to get views or any stories related to people attempting to sue over tripping over hoses or slipping on water, even frozen water in sub zero conditions. In about 8 years of using WFP i've only had one incident where an apology was good enough and the matter was not taken any further. But another local wc was taken to court and was succesfully sued for £5K even with a trip hazard sign out, apparently it was positioned wrongly!! Would love to hear responses...
