Hi All,

This afternoon I quoted for a large house in a very affluent area. They wanted their exterior windows cleaned and also their gutters cleaned.

I quoted £55 for the windows and £150 for the gutters.

The womans mouth dropped open when I quoted her the prices and she said she was expecting to only pay about £60 for the whole lot!!!

She was very nice though and offered me £80 to do it - LOL  :

I personally price per job not per area.

some people just dop not have a clue when it comes to jobs to do on a house.
I have had a guy once say to me £5 for my house after I had quoted £20. he said £5 is alot of money and a bit extra, I replied good luck finding someone and walked away.
