They said we would have a hard winter - all the signs apparently indicated that. True, we've had a lot of rain, but temperatures have been above normal.

What a load of old bollox! My cat is the best weather forecaster i know. If he wants to go out at 6am (for the day) it's guaranteed dry weather. If he has breakfast and heads straight off to the spare room bed....it's gonna p1ss down....never gets it wrong
