« on: January 12, 2008, 12:57:48 pm »
Hi. Setting up a 2nd van and would like to know what would be the best size tank for an Escort van.
Also any ideas for good place to purchase a battery.

Thanks

i had a 400 litre tank in my escort but when it was full it was a bit difficult to stop, i would reccomend a 250 flat tank and that also leave room for all the other stuff you have to fit in

What's the payload on the van? If 600 or less, 250l, and definitely not 400l. With all the tools, a 400l tank will push it to 700Kg.

I had both a 250 and a 400 in mine.  No problem with the 400 - but you do have to be a bit careful, but as long as you don't overdo it, you'd be fine.  If there are two blokes in there, then that's pushing it.
