Hi everyone and Happy New Year, im glad its all over.
Anyway, I would like to ask a question or two if I may, DP printers offer free artwork, is that good stuff? I havent got a leaflet yet, so its a new thing for me, what about layout? will those guys do that aswell?

Hi Dan,

I'm glad its over as well, back to work and start earning some money!

I think most printers will offer a design service. If you have a layout in mind with specific images and perhaps a logo you'd like to use forward them as much of it as you can and let them do the rest. Leaflets I've had done I've made a design using microsoft publisher & sent it through with good quality images.

Most printers will send you a proof before printing so you can make any changes before printing takes place.

Have a look on some stock photo sites, there are some really good images, baby on carpets, clean crisp looking rugs, leather suites etc, its usually a waste of time doing your own.

Hi Davep,

I sent my rough copy in publisher not finished leaflet to give them an idea of layout. I wouldnt expect publisher to provide adequate quality for printing. Just something for them to work on...
