They're not supposed to be waterproof. They're made of wetsuit material which lets in a layer of water for your body heat  to warm!

indeed

they let in water which is trapped between the glove and your hand and then heated up by your hand

I use neoprene glove and know plenty of others best things for keeping your hands warm on cold mornings not supposed to be waterproof

The Unger Neoprene gloves are totally waterproof, not that it makes any difference of course because your hands sweat inside them and the insides get wet anyway as they can't breath!
When I used them, I'd have two pairs and would turn one pair inside out to dry whist continuing to use the other pair.

And if my bucket of water was hot, I'd stick my hands in there to warm them up...with the gloves on I mean, and if the gloves were dry inside they stayed dry...er...until my hands got sweaty that is!
