Hi guys,

Just wondered what you guys use to return clean rugs in. I'm looking for a plastic sleeve to protect them . Anyone help??

Thanks in advance.

My local store where  you can get flooring supplies for fitting carpets and hard floors etc, sells plastic tubing in a roll with something like 200 metres+ on the roll. It's good heavy duty plastic sheeting-but in a tube. You can also cut it down the middle and open it up to provide instant protective plastic sheeting.

I would guess a flooring supplier neear you would aslo sell something similar.

Heard somewhere of a CC that uses BODY BAGS   :o

I use a roll of plastic and cut to size .............. once it is taped up, it is very easy to carry even large rugs  8)

Most packaging suppliers sell Polythene tubing. If doing this make sure the customer removes the rug on delivery as any remaining moisture, even slight, can cause mildew and fungal problems in the enclosed "greenhouse".

Kraft paper I find is best.

I get the polythene they put new carpet in from a local shop who lets me have it for nothing.

They run a knife down it to open it up, so it is folded but perfectly ok for what I want.
