Do fanjets work better than penciljets on hydrophobic glass?
I ask because I have quite a few custies with seriously hydrophobic glass. The water hits them and bounces straight off. I have to spend quite a bit longer rinsing them thus using a lot more water.

Yes they do but you need the water at a certain pressure for them to work. They also get into vents when you don't want them to. I've got one laying around if you wanted to give it a go.

Hi Simon, I was thinking of experimenting with a modified brush that has both types of jets with a valve to switch between the two as I have a lot of custies with vents in their windows that would be a problem with fans. At this point I don't even know if I can get hold of an appropriate valve.

Somebody on this forum has done exactly that before. May be they'll come on and say how. I remember them posting some pictures but I can't remember who it was.

I've also done it but I didnt use a valve I just simply put each jets in then the tubing and a "Y" piece so that I had to disconnect the "Y" each time I wanted to switch between them
I you can picture that

Hi chris,
I can see what you're talking about. A tap would deffinitely speed things up though if you knew of a supplier. Does anyone know of a supplier of a 6mm 'Y' peice with a tap in it?
