Sorry to steal the thread but, how do I ' tweek' the pressure switch. The pump will switch on and off, then all of a sudden will switch on and stay on, even though the gate valve is closed to stop the flow

You can "tweak" pressure switch on a SHURflo pump by adjusting the grub screw in the end of the switch.
To correct a previous thread, it is NOT correct that SHURflo pumps are only warrantied if used with a Flow Control device.
Williamson Pumps however, will always recommend the use of a Varistream.

im onmy 3 one in 2 years but just got a brodex pressure controller with this one it should help prolong the life
