If you go to a builder's merchants they'll all be way too strong, don't worry.
I've got 3 on mine and they're rated at 1000lbs each.
In reality the hook will snap long before the strap anyway, so it doesn't really matter!
The cost?
99p each! Couldn't believe it.

Why dont you go for the cleaningspot mental brackets which are cheaper than 85.00 from cleantech and there a proper mental accross your tank.

Like I said, doesn't matter if get 500,000kg ones.
The hook will break before then in practice anyway.

if you get orange straps, the breaking strain on these is 3000kg, and on thhe blue ones is 5000kg. If you go to a motor accesorie shop and get the smaller sizes, you'll have to go by the pack. I always use the blue straps, for what they cost I know nothing's gonna move

you can buy 4 tonne and 5tonne that come in blue and orange colours check the
label inside for the safe working load 4or 5 tonne are fine if are ce marked
as will have been proof tested with a ratio of 4-1 sometimes 6_1 depending
on manufacturer involved.
till a year ago i worked for a lifting and strapping company so for a change
i know what im talking about

oh yeah should have also added that the components on the webbing
ratchets, clawhooks, delta links have only a factor ratio of 2-1 so technically
speaking squeaky was right when said hooks would fail first
but obviously the higher tonnage the lashing can take the safer restraint it will be

Just a local one to me, but I'm sure Travis Perkins would do them.
Actually, they may have been 79p.
All I remember is allowing about £5 each and getting 3 and having a couple of quid change!
