LadderM8rix pal. Even on ice, no problem whatsoever, been using it for months, best thing on the planet, yes I use it very frequently on wet decking, even green slimey decking. Lifesaver

i have a ladderm8trix and i hardly use it now, best thing is a ladderbase mate stabiliser from midlands ladders, its impossible for the ladder to slip backwards with this thing, best bit of kit i've ever had.

Not at all mate, I don't carry a bucket and ladder at the same time, I walk twice, so it doesn't matter for me at all. Setting it up doesn't cost much time either.

Sorry, but that simply doesn't do on the majority of slippery surfaces. No way that is better then a Ladderm8rix.

I have both and the ladder base mate stabiliser is by far superior, i hardly ever use the ladderm8rix anymore, the base mate stabiliser makes it IMPOSSIBLE for the ladder to slip backwards, its as simple as that. with the ladderm8rix that is not the case there is a chance it can slip and has done once on me, not saying its a bad product it because it is very good, but no way is it better than the base mate stabiliser

You mean this one :

http://www.basemate.ca/

? If so, how can that possibly not slip on decking ice etc. Just rubber feet.

we have had a ladder slip with a ladder mate attached as the photo, it was internal so all ground clean and dry. both slipped outwards and left top of ladder with nothing to rest on, the h & s were good but said its just one of those things as it doesnt fit all ladders excactly, so please use with caution,
