Hi Folks,

So........................

To sum up what we have learned from this thread................

To keep our pure water safe we should:

1.  Try not to let it get warmer than 20 C
2.  Keep it in the dark.
3.  Keep all our equipment clean.
4   Don't store it too long

Oh.........
and iff us chaps start sniveling and feeling a bit disorientated.....................
Don't worry..............
It's only MAN FLU ;D ;D

if your tanks going green clean it out with bleach then rinse it with pure water if you have water going in and out of your tank daily it will decrease the chance of it going green also if you must leave water stood still in your tank for a while as a last resort put some (quite a lot) bleach in it as this will help prevent things from growing but you will have to put the bleached water through a di canister again to make it suitable for window cleaning and bleach will exhaust the resin quicker.

Just swill your tanks with milton steralising fluid, its safe enough to steralise baby's botltes.
