Hi guys, sorry should have said - the tanks are not baffled.

I am aware however from previous listings on this forum that peple have added baffles, although I am not sure exactly how they did it. Something to do with half cut drain pipes!?!

Thanks Tony for posting my E-Bay listing.

to baffle the tanks you need land drain use in a complete length and feed in to tank in a coil

A  couple of sites, what size are you after

If you get one from the last link

If you require a coloured tank (rather than normal transulcent) you can choose from Green, Black, Red or Blue. There is an extra small charge for this option. Please add this item to your basket and state which colour your require in the Comments section on the Shopping Basket Screen.

(£8 I think )

Hi Chaps,

Thanks for all your interest.

Just for your info, my company - Toucan Environmental LTD - specialises in the reconditioning and supply of steel and plastic containers.

I started Toucan in January of this year, and was instantly surprised by the number of people contacting me with regards to mobile valeting.

Since that time, I have supplied over 100 tanks of various sizes exclusively to valeters, although the most common size without doubt has been the 600 ltr. It was a member of this forum in fact who made me aware of it, and who suggested that there would be a large number of valters out there who could benefit from cheap but strong water tanks.

For all the info, please feel free to either vist my e-bay shop at http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Toucan-Environmental or ring me on 07817 844802.

Basic info though relating to the 600 ltr tank - the tank has a maximum footprint of 800x1200 and is 1040mm high. It is mounted on a plastic pallet that is easily removed, with the original fixings being available to secure to your van floor.

The tanks are totally clean, and are sutable for RO water.

The tops have a hole large enough to install a pump if required, although the pressure provided from the bottom outlet is sufficicient to feed a pressure washer (assuming the tank is higher than the pressure washer!!).

With regards to delivery, I can supply to most parts of England for a maximum carriage charge of £45. Scotland, North Wales, and Northern Ireland is slightly more expensive. The tanks are in stock and are supplied on a next day following payment basis.

Hope this helps chaps and all the best with the valeting.

Alex.

are they ok without being baffled ?

they sound much better than the 1000 litre tanks, they must take the whole van up, but would be a bonus baffled,

like the 500 litre tanks, they are so square and bulky , they block all the space,  but they are baffled,

cant beat an upright or lay flat box standard normal tank.

in my view, they give you the space as well,

but these 600 litre tanks are interesting as they are priced well and advertised correctly stating just what you get for your money...

a good alternative, and refreshing to hear someone corresponding and taking time out to be polite and explaining his business.

Nice one Alex.   ;)

Thanks for your support.

Not being a mobile valeter, I could not honestly say how a non-baffled 600ltr tank would compare to a baffled version.

I have however sold a large number to mobile valeters and have not had any negative comments.

I would love to offer a  baffled version, and if anyone could tell me exactely how to do it I would be very grateful. In fact I'll even pay you, as it will naturally add value to my product!!

Thanks again - Alex.
