Yes tip out the old resin and fill with new.  It would be a waste of money buying the cartridge as well.

however the 2 di bottles trick will save u lots of dosh if u are doing di only, search this site if u dont know how to set it up

how full do you fill it.

fill it to the top, put the sponge back in and tighten end cap, then give it a shake and tap it a few times, this will fill in any gaps, then unscrew and top up the gap

Dave,

They wanted £30.55 inc vat for delivery for the two bags as I was about to place a order. Is that normal price for delivery?
Is there another site that will charge less (postage)as I'll do need some resin?

Cheers....Tony

thanks everyone. bought  half a bag, changed the resin inside and was surprised that immediately it is coming out at 00ppm . thanks for all the help and saving me a few quid as a new cartridge was 10 pounds. buying half a bag it works out at approx 4pounds per fill instead.
