Hot Mopping ?

I have been asked by a client to Hot Mop the Surgery floors, They have insited the water be hot to kill any bacteria.

We broom sweep and mop floors in the usual way, using professional cleaning detergent and have never had a problem.

Has anyone else come across this before?. Does it has an advantage.
