IBC TANK - TRILON B LIQUID?
« on: July 11, 2007, 11:21:09 am »
Hi all,

I got my hands on a couple of IBC tanks which have had TRILON B LIQUID - Stored in them, had a look on the net and found a bit of info about it :-

http://www.basf.com/businesses/chemicals/performance/pdfs/Trilon_B_Liquid.pdf

Does any1 know if my purified water will be ok in these prior to use?

I have given them a jet wash out just not 2 sure?

Thanks
ANDY

Water Treatment: General control of water hardness; treatment of boiler feedwater; treatment of cooling tower water to minimize scale; additive to processing water to minimize spotting and staining of washed articles.

Sounds like it is a water softner of some sort , dont supose it will take a lot of harm
Perhaps try putting somr pure in there then swilling it around and then testing the tds again
