Hi All
I have the chance to tender for a large (200+ rooms) contract and will need a wfp. I can't afford 1 so anybody hire them ?.

Malcolm,

Don't know if anyone hires them, but have you considered subcontracting it to one of the lads on here who has one. You can then get to learn how to use one effectively whilst still earning from the work.

Seems like a sensible option until your ready to fork out quite a few grand for just the one job. Lets you build up and canvass for more as well.

build your own

 i built my own, and i belive i saved a load of money

Unger Pole and angle neck --- 70

Trolley, pump box, brush and 12 containers -- 400

100 gal RO with DI --- 100

water butt to store water --- 25 (soon to be doubled in size)

hosepipe and reel and 5 mm pipe and connections --- 30

Power pack

total cost --- 650 quid

sure the Unger pole isnt the lightest, the RO is only 100 Gal a day, its on 24 hours a day and does the job, we use it for 8 hours work a day, 4 days a week

all the other bits are the same as every1 else uses (same brush, pump etc)

if the contract is that good, 650 quid inst that much
