Ashby's service
« on: June 03, 2007, 11:44:50 pm »
Just got back from a trip to Ashbys Dartford.

Got there on friday 8am to have my Ninja serviced and travelled from Cheshire.
My machine needed much work doing after 14 months without attention. 400 psi pump needed new mounting bracket and pipework modifying  and updating to latest spec. Steammate needed removing inspecting and new thermostat. New pressure gauge fitted. Vac motor replacing. Flow control valve seals replacing. Dump valve seals replaced. Neon indicator light replaced. Pressure relief valve (leaking) replaced.
Service checks carried out and PAT tested.

Picked machine up at end of day. Very impressed with the workmanship and service!
A BIG THANKS to all at Dartford  ;D

Also stayed in Watford till today at friends to enjoy the great weather and barbeque!

The thermostat for the steammate is a standard one available from RS Components.

Denis,

Thanks for your help i was a little confused because when you do a search for the original replacement it states on the unit :

imit 120 degree type TR2 9325

and all the searches come up blank.

Thanks again,

Regards,

Gary

I looked into it and actually felt Ashby's price is quite good value. Not only do you get pump, but also some replumbing and gauge etc. Plus guarantee.

Ashby's are one of the best company's out there for machines and parts, and are now the industry leaders, over taking Prochem Europe some years ago.
Don't be fooled by the little modest shop at Dartford, they have a MASSIVE turn over. :o :o
