Yes you just carry on , you get a code to make it licensed.

George automatically backs up within the program on your own hard drive , but it is your responsibility to back up to the internet which is a bout £10 a year or to a floppy , key drive etc.

Putting your initial dat in is the hardest part. As long as you dont remove it you wont lose it. George and data is pretty foolproof, but you do need to understand fully how it works. You can back up once or 10 times a day. Aint got everything but what has.

do you know if you can import an excel data sheet Jeff?

I've also been having a little play with it as well, and say for instance i have just cleaned the property, input by mistake that they have paid, then want to adjust that they haven't can it be done, i couldn't do it that was all, i'll keep playing but i really hope there is a way of importing an excel sheet otherwise it will take me forever to input all this data :-\

i have now started inputting my customers details and it is taking me ages  ::)

anyways if i wish to add all my outstanding debt how do i do it if geroge is expecting my next clean on such and such?? how can you add a debt for previous cleans if it doesn't know that you've cleaned them???

Also there is only one field for telephone numbers, what if you have more than 1 number for a customer where can it go???

Hi Nat

To input debts you have 2 options.

You can mark the Job as Paid on any date you choose and change the Price to the total debt amount or you can enter each of the Debt items on the date they were actually done.

The first way is quicker but the second way is more correct...

You can add the extra phone numbers to the Job Notes.

Hi

Sorry - no.

It's a bit tedious entering your jobs but you only have to do it once...
