Has anyone been on the 'waterfed pole course' by the window cleaning academy. My business partner and I were thinking of going on this before getting our system.
Is it worth it, will it get us into it all quicker?
Definitely worth it. You'll learn all the background, history etc and will be able to answer any customer's questions. If you can't answer, or blind them with science, just phone Craig - sorry Craig! You'll also be more knowledgeable in what to ask suppliers - what type, and also the size, of resin to ask for, for instance. You get practical instruction on the poles too, helpful hints and tips, and find out the difference in weights between the various types of pole.
What was most important to me, however, was the fact that it didn't turn into a selling exercise, even although we were the only ones there not using Ionics' system.
Apart from all that, it goes through as a business expense, and you even get a certificate of completion to impress customers with.
Go for it!
