Pricing commercial upholstery cleaning
« on: May 24, 2007, 04:24:57 pm »
Hi guys,

Just wondering how to quote a job for cleaning of seats in a bar/lounge.. does anyone have a tariff system that they use? I clean a lot of household suites but this is a much bigger job. Am thinking of quoting on how long I think it will take me to do (hourly rate) instead of trying to measure it all.. there is long couch type seating as well as individual chairs.
Any advice appreciated thanks

best way is to price on time you think it is going to take. if they are fixed bench type with no removable cushions then it can be quicker than you think.
the thing to watch out for is when are they wanting the upholstery back in use. if like us you have a lot of air movers then you can clean them early morning and have the seating back in use for lunch time or preferably if done on a quiet day that evening.
