Just got me new system on order and just wondered what the common pitfalls are at first?

Any pointers would be appreciated!

once you are set up, work on your own house and friends who aren't customers for practise purposes. Then you can see the pitfalls and results for yourself and adjust accordingly. It's difficult to pinpoint what might happen as we all have differnet experiences. Try the above and put results on here and then we can comment for you ;D

just spend a little longer on windows that have never had the system used on them before as you will need to remove all the soap that gets trapped in the seals after 2 cleans they will all be perfect. I tell any new customers not to expect 10/10 results till the 3rd clean

Ist visit give the frames a great clean, including vents etc...

If your converting exisiting customers over each house you clean traditionally at the moment give the frames a good clean. 5 minutes spent now will save you 10 minutes later on cleaning the frames.

best of luck,

Clean all the frames and glass first and then go back and do just the glass, it'll take you longer this time and you'll probably have to go back and get more water but it's well worth it in the long run.

i use a bit of gg3 on the brush for each window and frame, then make sure i clean it off well and rinse well.  for me, this usually gets it right first time

it takes me about twice as long as normal for a first clean, but i think it's time well spent

as all above, take your time at first practice can make perfect, it will seem to be no faster at first and you,ll possible find yourself doing some windows with a blade as it,s quicker than dragging a pole to them, but as your skill improves your speed will improve and your confidence in the work you do will show through as you explain how it works to the customers, drop me an e-mail and I,ll send you a copy of a leaflet that I give all new customers even now and I,ve been WFPolling for about four years now,as Ive found that the customer will stand there and listen to you explain the system then when you have finnished will ask if you are going to dry the windows.Daaaa

And on no account back down and do that little old ladys windows the "normal way"

Best of luck Alan

Without doubt the single number 1 factor in my mind is to ensure the frames esp the top frame are given the mother of all cleans...rinse, rinse and if in doubt rinse it again...

Then do the glass...
