"cheap" van sign writing
« on: April 21, 2007, 07:40:24 pm »
Im a newbie to window cleaning and have read the posts about the bennefits of a having a van sign for your business...
mainly to project a professional image.

I did a search for vinyl signs on ebay and found that you can get stick on 7 year vinyl lettering made to order for both sides of a van with business name, proffesion, tel number and website for under £30.

What do you  guys think of this method.

Does it look professional?   Also, do you generate much business from the sign?

The only thing with magnetic signs in my humble opinion, is that you are limited to a smaller space to get your ad onto but the vinyl stickers can cover the whole length of a van cheaply which is why im thinking of having vinyl.

The magnetic is cheaper though and is slip on/off.....can change from one vehicle to another.....will give it some more thought.
Thanks Matt.

you can get them any size, of course you will have to measure the van panel and see what size you need

Just be careful with magnetic signs. Great though they are if they are not removed regularly moisture gets between them and the metal and rust can start to develop.
Just a riendly warning form someone who experienced it.
