i have a sebo................(£229 +vat) i am sure some one will offer cheaper)
works ok for me .but they are a bit lightweight.................you put down your pre-spray.............then follow up with sebo...treat like a hoover(they dont collect anything just scrub).but brush north/south then east/west for the best results.................then clean with your normal method..........
after a few use's..............turn the sebo upside down turn on and run a fork along the brushes..............and watch the sh** fly out.
good luck hope this helps

Hi Nick
How much are the Hosts and where do you get them from. I often hand brush bad areas once pre-sprayed and I don't mind it (keeps me fit etc.) does the machine do a much better job?

Its not a vacuum cleaner, only a set of motorised brushes.

The duo was designed for dry compound cleaning to scrub the powder into the carpet, you then let it dwell and vacuum out, the duo just agitates, to be honest ive never used my sebo this way only to agitate prespray.

I've been tempted to use it for dry clean as I don't have a rotary. But can't help feeling it wouldn't be up to much for custys.

Hi,
You can use it for host style dry compound cleaning.... for what its worth.
IMO, its too light and you really want a heavier version (prochem fibredri, host etc)
