Being a bit dim, I'd like to know how to wire up this switch.
It has an LED light on the front and 3 contacts on the back.
Any help appreciated.

one of the contacts is just for the led light which isnt really needed so just conect your red wire to one and black to the other job done .

If That is a 2 pole switch & you wire the Positive and negative to a switch, it will go Bang.

No it doesn't. Dont ask me why. Positive to one negative to the other, has worked fine for a year with another 3 terminal switch.
