lightweight poles
« on: March 05, 2007, 08:26:07 pm »
evening all.

anybody got any advice on a good 24 foot pole i could buy.

i've got an 18 foot power pole but i am a bit wary about getting a 24 foot one because of the weight of it. the 18 footer is quite heavy by the end of the day and i'm sure there must be an alternative out there.i've read a bit about the ecolite pole from brodex but after looking on the web site i'm a bit lost as there seem to be about six different 25 foot poles to choose from.

my work is all domestic, three bed semi's, upvc frames. i've got a sill brush on my powerpole which seems good, again any tips on brushes would be most welcome.

cheers

Try a Predator 25ft or an Ecolite 25ft (both Brodex poles)

If you're looking for truly lighter 24ft telescopic poles then you have the choice of the following;

25ft glassfibre ergo-lite from Ionics£408.95 (2.8kg)
25ft carbonfibre eco-lite from Brodex £319 (weight-who knows they never say)
24ft Facelift glass fibre pole £289 (2.44kg inc brush and hose)

The predator is not in the same league as it weighs 3.8kg, but it is still a good pole and a lot cheaper than the above choices (£138). Also the 24ft Universal is 3.8kg not quite as long lasting as the Predator but cost just (£104).

I think that's about it.
