telescopic ladders

hi iam looking into buying a set of telescopic ladders for access and odd balcony windows does any one use these are they safe and easy to use thanks

After speaking to a couple of people that use them i decided not to bother.
If you don't keep them clean etc they can collapes. One of the guys i spoke to had this happen.

I bought these instead from Makro for £81

Woods, Im in the US and we use these to reach up to 21 ft
Each section is 6ft and fits easily inside a van or estate car and are easy to take apart and put together

thanks for the info guys i do have a standard set of good ladders but ive got a combo van/car and cant open the boot right when the ladders are on top i was thinking of a ladder slide to bring the ladder closer to the front of the car but there pretty expencive

iive got a set of the telescopic ladders, only use them a couple of times a month,i find them excellent,no more getting steps out to undo ladder clamps to get off top of van.
