merlin teething troubles x 2

have boosted water pressure to 55 psi taken merlin apart checked seal lubricated again but still have a reading of 130 ppm after before is 350 ppm im stumped

the merlin is an excellant unit IF you have good enough pressure, i run mine on 60psi and have a TDS of 10ppm (going in at 200ppm).
TBH i think there may be something wrong with your unit to be running as high as that and with the pressure you have got  ???

how old are your filters? have membranes been opened but not used for a while (they are not meant to dry out), is there any discolouring to your filters maybe suggesting a "bad batch" of water going through. i have had this happen to me when the water board were working on the water pipes in my area, they sent a load of muck through the pipes and then into my unit  >:(

why not speak to steve at freshwater (member on here) as he seems to know all there is to know about RO units, always found him to be very helpful.

NO PROBS WHITH MY MERLIN. TAP 332 ,007 PURE,TWO YEARS OLD CHANGE THE POST FILLTER 4 TIMES. RUNNING 1000 LITERS A DAY WHITH TURBINE PUMP.

Where did you get it? Phone them because something sounds very wrong with your unit.
