 water stains on window
Today at 23:33:13  Alert Moderator  Mark & Quote  Quote  Modify  Remove   Ive just started cleaning shop window for a new custie, the shop was unoccupied for awhile and rain had been running down the window from metal shutter,it has left a stain all over the window and no matter how much i clean it the stains are still there. they want me to clean of the stains, question is what is the best way to do this ?
do i use a scraper or a pot scrubber type sponge, or is there some kind of detergent i can use?
I started out with nothing......I still have most of it.

A specially formulated thick liquid for the removal of mineral deposits on glass.
MDR removes water spots, hard water film, oxidation & lime deposits.
MDR is safe to use on glass, alloy, stainless steel and chrome.
Apply with a lightly abrasive white pad or applicator sleeve.
MDR is biodegradable and does not contain harmful hydrochloric acid which can damage the glass and surround.

could also try a search, as i think there are other products members have recommended before about this.

Is it lime scale?

I've had cases of water running long term from a high level overflow, and splashing the glass when it hit the sill.

A spray on lime scale remover did the trick, except for one, where the lime had etched the glass a bit.
