protective film on upvc

ask today to prices to remove protective film which is on upvc , problem is film has been on for over a year now and somebody had a go, just ripping film which only made a mess of it , does anybody no a quick way like a solution which can be placed on film and brakes down adesives

yep don't do it.
recently did a builders clean for a small building company,the gaffer on site spent 4 hours trying to get protective film of two patio doors using all sorts of solutions and it still looked a mess,thats why I wouldn't do it
