Do think this would scare them?
« on: December 20, 2006, 08:42:45 pm »
We all have bad payers, and unfortunately some that just won't pay.
Do you think that this letter would get results?
Is there anything that needs changing. Dai

BIG POLE WINDOW CLEANING

Dear Mr Bloggs.
Following an approach by a debt collection agency,
We have decided to sell on all outstanding debts.
Our records show that you still owe us £30 for services we provided in July 2006.
We are surprised that our request for payment has so far gone unheeded.
Although the sum as it stands is comparatively small, the added court and recovery costs will add to this considerably.
We are presenting our list of debtors on 31st of January 2007.
In order to have your name removed from the list, we will need payment in full by the 29th January.

Yours sincerely,   Joe Smith

It will probably end your contract with them but, hey, you got your money and who needs bad payers, anyway? I like it.

If someone doesn't pay after the second clean, then just dump then.

Personally, I don't think it's worth the mental effort or the physical worry. There will always be those who don't pay.
