Can anyone help please?

1. Off white polyester carpet
2. Less than 1 year old
3. Hot chocolate drink stain
    made with semi skimmed milk
4. Stain is two months old
5. They tried to remove using a vax machine
6. Stain remains after various small tests

I am guessing that its the natural co co extract in the drink that is causing the problem, that combined with the initial heat of the drink, then the attempt by the customer to remove stain by vax.

Mark if its poly prop then it will remove with your normal pre sray and extraction.
The picture is hard to see fully but it looks more like a plush carpet.If that is the case the the stain is in for good.

I tried Multipro then Fibre & Fabric Rinse, No effect.

In that case im sure it plush ( 3 different synthetic fibres, very soft pile) Nightmare to get most stains out.

The pile was lovely and soft.

Plush - can you tell me more. I would have thought that this type of stain would have been easy to extract.

Why is this not the case.

Surely as the fibre is bonded on manufacture - how does the stain penetrate and lock on the the fibers?

Plush/velour - Traditionally these carpets are soft non-twisted fibre with a velour finish. Will show footprints similar to "walking in sand."
 Sometimes called velvet-plush or simply velvet. A luxurious smooth-textured, highly finished,cut pile carpet surface with a very smooth and soft finish. Plush is usually longer and more dense than a "Saxony".
I think the synthetic mix is a blend of Polyester,nylon and acrylic.
I have always found them a nightmare to lean if they are trashed and most dye based stains wont come out.
