A friend of mine did the year in Oz thing a while ago.
He said that he earned quite a lot of money doing window cleaning.  He just bought  trad stuff when he got there.  I would emagine wfp would be ok.
Veni, vidi, vino, splatus.

 (I came, I saw, I drank, I fell over...)

A guy that used to work for me part time moved out to Harvey Bay, QUeensland.

He phoned me last Sunday, and told me his window cleaning business was now doing very well. He does mostly shops with a pole and Wagtail squeegie, he's got one 30ins long for shop fronts.
He said it was hard work to start with, but with persistant canvassing it's paying off.
It's very hot out there so he only works till 3 pm.
Houses can be a bit of a pain, as most have fly screens fitted in front of them.
He had never heard of WFP untill I mentioned it.
Hope this helps, Dai
