Hi all,
yesterday I was cleaning a suite, I had my back to the mantelpiece and was on my hands and knees when suddenly there was a huge crash behind me...... a picture had fallen off the wall and smashed a clock below it and two crystal ornaments...luckily the custy had been sitting in the room watching my every move so she saw it happen... she said the picture had been there for 40 yrs.  when we looked at it the string had snapped where it sat on the nail...although i didnt tell her (she put it down to "one of those things") I suspect the heated atmosphere in the room may have done it (weakened the string?)  Has this happened to anyone else?
regards
Ollie
