100% Pay rate of all my customers this way. Started up my business like this, with canvassing I state different methods of payment, and no collecting. They all very much appreciate it. At the end of the day, it's even easier for the customer!

I use

Bac's
Paypal
SAE with 2nd class stamp
Cash/cheque at time of clean.

Most of mine pay by SAE.
I used to go out every friday collecting and i used to take me at least a couple of hours.
I used to hate it.

Then i was offered a large contract and it mean't i did not finish work until about 7pm most fridays.
It was a hard one what do i do.
Take on the extra work or go out collecting.

Well i took on the work and just changed all my customers to SAE in one go and everyone was ok with it.
I did have a couple who were taking the **** but i just got rid of them.

I would never go back to evening collecting.

My other half has just mentioned an important aspect, after i was discussing same with a customer today.

I think by collecting evenings you build up better customer relations, also surely less time out collecting means more time glued to the computer checking everything adds up, and working out whos paid and who hasnt.

Besides i try to collect only on fridays and mondays!

Nah, I don't agree with all those statements. Less time out collecting means more money, more time for loved ones, more time for everything.
