What a difference a spray makes..
« on: October 30, 2006, 09:53:24 pm »
Well Sunday night I learnt a very hard lesson indeed. Picture the scene: Half ten start (night), Black-top Chinese restaurant, greasy and no tea.

Had about 10 liters of Prochem MultiPro pre mixed in a sprayer so I thought I would use this as I didnt want to throw it away and didnt have another container to hand, struggled like hell even with Crystal Green in the HWE, did about half the floor in about 3hrs, then ran out of the MultiPro. So after a trip to the van I mixed up Prochem TraffiClean to max recomended strength, talk about a difference, breezed through the other half in just an hour, it was like a red hot knife through melted butter - so so so easy.

Just so annoyed at myself that I didnt change earlier as it made such a big difference to my workload, nevermind, lesson 8654886 for the books

I do not usally use Traffic Clean but got some for rentals.

However I used some in a customers home the other day and he complained it made him feel sick.

I then thought about it and the day before I had used some on a trashed Nursing Home Carpets and felt a bit sick and light headed afterwards. I just thought I had been moving my wand too much.

I did have Windows open etc. But think I will mask up next time I use it.

But agree its an excellent paint stripper.

Hi Red, going is tough but I'm finding it a steep learning experience!
I cant thank you enough for letting me help you out that day, very useful indeed.
I'm just testing the water with regards to chem's and methods, there are just so many options out there.
The most difficult part, for me anyway, is pricing jobs, but thats probably because I dont like using generic price plans - I like to look at each job as assess each one on its own.
I'm branching out to hardfloor cleaning aswel now, buts thats in its early stages!.

How you finding the T/M ?

If traffic clean is so good why dont all just use it instead of a regular pre spray?
