iam going to clean, students flat on wed,
the street is all pemit holders only ,
but the students dont have cars ,
can i park in the street and put a note on my windscreen
to alert wardens iam cleaning a flat in the street
without getting my collar felt

Call your local borough council and let them know that you will be parking in the road that day, sometimes helps

most permit only streets provide residents with a vistors permit or scrach card type tickets ! ask the students or neigbours

I put a nicely typed A4 note on the windscrene that I am "Doing flood removal work, sorry for the inconvienience",  and have never had a problem.

This isnt a lie, as when I have finished cleaning a carpet, it is soaked through 

Just a joke, as they are always touch dry when I leave!

thanks to you all i have spoken to a solicitor i was doing work
for he said i should have no prob , but if i do appeal
as people have to have work carried out
