which new pole?
« on: October 22, 2006, 07:44:16 pm »
hi
i,ve been using a 38ft glass-fibre pole for about 2 1/2 years now and it,s broken so i,m looking to get a new one but not sure wether to buy carbon or aluminium.i dont use it at full length very often but when i do it is almost useless to be honest, the weight and flex is just silly. i would like to know which is the more rigid of the two at the said height as i am led to beleive that weight differance between the two is minimal.

thanks for any reply

macmac the king of big poles now seems to be unger's new flagship pole it retails for about £1545 look at it on the windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk.
i haven't used it but from what i've heard it ticks all the boxes.... one man operation to get it up EVEN to 60ft and the pole is the same size all the way to the top giving less flex even at height.

I HAVE GOT THAT NEW UNGER POLE AND IT IS THE BEST THING I HAVE INVESTED IN BUT THE BRUSH HEAD IS RUBBISH SO I PUT A TUCKER BRUSH ON IT AND IT IS NOW THE BUSINESS!!!

Carbon poles are more rigid than aluminium poles as a rule although tend to be much more expensive- your choice!
