dirty windows

i don t belive how many people seem to be happy with filthy windows. i deliver flyers to tonnes of houses and can see their windows are black and i know there is no window cleaner but they never call. mucky sods ;D

I think that. SometimesI am amazed. Even when you have cleaned the windows they still look terrible and you realise it is on the inside.  Dirty monkeys.

Had one today in a street I was pushing flyers, the woman was putting a child in the car and I asked wether she was interested in having her windows cleaned, "no thanks" she said very politely, a quick gaze at the windows and I nearly said " are you sure"  talk about mucky! would have taken ages to get that lot clean :o

Hey
having your windows cleaned is a luxury.
I suppose people just do not think about it.
Strange realy spend all the money each month on a house just to leave it dirty.

i find it funny when canvassing. Some have stinking windows and they say
" no thanks, i clean them myself"

If I'm in cheeky-monkey mode and canvassing either side of a customer and Mrs. Houseowner says: - "No thanks, my husband does them" I finish off the sentence with "but not very often (insert big disarming grinas I say it) eh?"

What amazes me even more is those customers who pay us to clean the outside of their windows, yet the insides are filthy; and remain so; month after month.

I laugh when I canvass and the owner says, sorry, I have already got a window cleaner!

I've sometimes been tempted to ask people "why the **** do you give me £10 of your hard earned cash every month to clean your windows, when they're so filthy inside, that you can't even see out of them?"  I just hope they never ask ME to do them!

LAZINESS!

People can't be bothered cleaning their own windows, nor can they be bothered picking up the phone. Instead they wait until you call at their door and then they hire you.

When I started my latest round back in 1998, I put out 14,000 leaflets. How many calls did I get?   30!

But when I went ot clean the windows in a street, I would get 10 more gfor each person who called. Some I even asked, "Didn't you get my leaflet?". "Oh yes, dear. But I thought I would just see you"

Needless to say, I didn't waste any more cash on leaflets!

Best thing is top get your van properly signwritten. Got more work through that than anything else.

Tell me about it!! Most houses in my area would be charged at £6/7.00 a house each fortnight. Simple things in life; like clean windows make life a bit more worth living and for what £6/7.00 a fortnight. Also i also HATE DETEST people lying about having a window cleaner why dont they just tell the truth!!   >:( >:( >:(

I believe that those who have dirty windows should be named and shamed in the local press and the re-introduction of 'stocks' should be considered where there are no local papers.
