Once a price is established in an area its all but impossible to break out of the price structure. It not a North / South thing as such its more to do with what people are used to paying.

Many of my customers have had a series of window cleaners in the past who have come for a while and then vanished. Most were casual cleaner of the dole / beer / fAgs / pin money variety. But the thing is they weren't cheap so I am able to pick up their customers at a good price.

Where prices drop is when you get the long term window cleaners who charges the same price for twenty years

In the past week I quoted two new customers who both jumped at my price so I think I could have got more. Pricing is a difficult subject to get to grips with. Cleaning the windows is easy by comparison.
