They must be serviced regularly including the changing of wear parts especially at the manufacturers recommended intervals. With the CFR system you must keep the internal plumbing clean otherwise sediment and lime scale can eventually build up. The clear plastic solution hoses underneath the solution/recovery tank should be clean and remain see-through.
After cleaning the system down at the end of the days cleaning I would flush the system through with clear water, adding a 1:20 dilution of acidic rinse at least once a week.
I have been cleaning with Solutions new ‘M-Power’ Microsplitting cleaning solution, both as a pre-spray and in tank additive and have found that the filters do not prematurely block, even on the heaviest of soils, and the tank also rinses clean easily when emptying. The 20-30 minutes clean down that I normally have to carry out at the end of the day, has been reduced to 5-10 minutes.
Also, check the nuts and bolts weekly as vibration can cause them to loosen.
