I had a thought today that could make somebody in the window cleaning productions game a fortune.
I know a lot of trad w/c ers like to apply the solution to about 1/2 inch of the edges of the panes of glass. This reduces the time taken in detailing the window because you don't have to wipe excess water from the edges.
I personally feel i am not doing a 'proper job' unless i wash all of the window and then tidy up afterwards.
How about one of the manufacturers designing an applicator which allows you to wash right to the edge of the pane but also removes the excess water at the same time by their being some kind of gizmo on the sides of the applicator.
In my nutty professor mode today.
