Sorry mate you are in a fantasy world.

I used to be with Servicemaster and thats what we did back in the stone age.
Dont care what anyone says there is nothing better than HWE.

Yes it will be dry in an hour if you hardly use any moisture on a fairly clean carpet in the middle of July with all the doors and windows open to help it dry.

I have lost count of people who have said the last bloke came and said it would be dry in a couple of hours. Tell them the truth 'It depends on soiling levels' and if you spend a bit more time extracting the excess moisture it will dry quicker, you will have a happier ciustomer who will probably recommend you to their friends because you told the truth and were vey helpfull.

If you want an in depth appraisal of 'bonneting' go to the 'kleenkuip' web site, where you will find a great deal of discussion about the system - and others - particularly about oscillating machines, which have never migrated, so far, to the UK, but have a very big following in the States and Canada.

In spite of the negative posts, there are many who use these systems and swear by them, particularly in commercial work.

Some years ago, we experimented with Argosheen, which is from the originators of bonnet mopping and found the chemical to be excellent.

Here I go again, promoting the NCCA Hands on Experience at Wolverhampton on 18th September.

I've been able to arrange, along with various other LM and VLM systems, 3 different OP machines to be present for you to try for yourselves.  There'll be a Challenger, Hruby and an Oreck.

I have been made aware of a cleaning chemical that is totally different to any solutions I have yet come across, and from the demo I've seen with an OP machine on carpets and Altro Safety Flooring, the results suggest a very exciting future for our industry.  If the timing is right, I hope to have some of this product on show on the day.

If you'd like to attend the Hands On Experience, contact the NCCA Office on 0116 271 9550.  There will be no sponsorship or displays from manufacturers, so there's no sales pitch to worry about.  To cover expenses and lunch, a maximum charge of £15 will be made per attendee.  NCCA Members recieve a small discount.

Safe and happy cleaning :)

Hi all,

Just watched the video on this link. http://www.dryfusionuk.com/video.php

Quite impressive I must say!

Where can I get a filter to demonstrate dirt removal as used in the demonstration for a sebo 36?

Kind regards,
Jason.

You can get the filters direct from Sebo.

Take a look at the Thermadry machine also, it's cheaper and seems to be a better machine as well.

Hi Bennymon

This "Hands On Experience" may be just a one-off for the NCCA, or it could turn out to be a toe-in-the-water to see what demand is like for this type of event elsewhere.

The biggest problem we have is finding a facility that will allow us to attack their carpets with what could turn out to be novice operators :o  Also, we have colleagues who are giving up their time (and money) to demonstrate their own equipment and skills.  To develop this event further could incur considerable costs which delegates may be unwilling to bear.  Time will tell.

Why not take the bull by the horns and come up to Wolverhampton.  It's a very low cost way of finding out more LM and VLM cleaning.  You never know, you may be so impressed that you end up investing in new equipment that can earn you very, very, very serious money :) :) :)

Safe and happy cleaning :)

So what phappens with dry fusion when a custy asks to do something extra like a rug? Can you clean a stinking fringe on a rug for example. What about the edge of a carpet that sometimes take some cleaning with HWE. What about where you pull a TV eg out to clean behind? Its a quick clean with the upholstery tool, but dry fusion? Sounds complicated to me.
