Q. for Dave St.Ives

Hi
On holiday in st. ives was it you i seen with a white van with the pole cliped  onto a roof rack , if so what clips do you use to do this and what do you do with the hose fitted to the pole?
If it was'nt you does anyone now the answers

One of our rigs uses surfboard pole holders from Thule.

are they any good ? and what do you do with the hose, tie it up or something.

We either have a ladder next to the pole on the roof and just tuck the coil into the rungs or we put it in the back of the vehicle and shut the door on it.

Yes you're right 'windsurfing' pole holder!

Sorry it wasn,t me, and all my poles fit nicely inside my van, and i dont have a roof rack.

oh well , go down there each year had a go on them little speed boats thats when i seen the poles on the roof.

I think this is disgraceful - these hardworking Polish folk come over here and you people stuff 'em in your van or put them on the roof rack. What next? Cockle picking in St.Ives bay? Tsk.Tsk!
