New membrane reading

I bought a new 40 40.  Membrane

I have the commercial pump  from freedom

Iam only getting reading  0012. Before di  From it
I have flushed it for 2 hours and ran it for 1 hour

How can I get it lower

What is your input ppm? To lower you  might need to fiddle with valve to get it optimal for current temperature of water. No figures for waste vs product flow make it bit more difficult deal with.  Example if your running 50/50 ratio backing up valve and changing it to 60/40 will offer slight improvement. Some membranes struggle to get below 10 if input is high ppm. Alternative involves water softener as it tends to work better.

That's a 97% rejection rate. Not bad for your tap water tds. Let it settle down for a few days and hopefully/maybe it will get to 98%. I doubt you will get to 99% though.
Success is 1% inspiration, 98% perspiration and 2% attention to detail!

The older I get, the better I was ;)

What make is your membrane? 97% is good to begin with.
