Boots

Anyone have any boots that stay properly dry ?

I've had loads of different boots from cheap to not so cheap. But no matter what my feet always end up damp eventually. Some are OK for a few months otheres barely last week. At the moment I have 2 pairs and just alternate them but almost everyday my feet are at least slightly damp.

I seem to go through at least 3 pairs a year as they soon become useless at keeping water out.

Caterpillar boots.  Used them from the start and never looked back.  Last for 3 or 4 years before I replace.   It's the laces that fail before the boots which I usually replace at least once per pair.

I've looked at them a few times and put them back. Thought they would be uncomfortable and drop to bits in no time. I have something similar for fishing but didn't think they would be comfy to wear all day.

Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

Harkila GTX boots my current ones are 6 years old and I regularly do them with grangers wax 100% waterproof still although the tread is poor due to ware , I need to get another pair , they aren’t cheap but worth the money , they are like a pair of walking boots warm ,dry and comfortable.

These are definitely waterproof and should last 3 years of heavy use. Really comfortable and not too heavy either. Been wearing them for years

Don't post here much anymore but still read some of the waffle when I can be bothered.
Anyways these boots are just great.
I go through 1 pair a year and literally the only reason I replace them is because the sole has worn down where they aren't as grippy as I would like for getting onto roofs etc but that's after a year of everyday use.
They do however stay completely waterproof for the entire year and not a single split, rip, tear or anything on any of the 3 pairs I have owned over the last 3 years.
Oh and they are super comfortable and lightweight, like wearing trainers.
