Where to Use Water and Dispose Solution?
« on: December 23, 2024, 02:06:20 am »
I am just starting with my window cleaning business.

I've been practicing at home tryna git gud before making sales.

Likewise, I've been using water from the hose (hard water). When cleaning a window for a client, are we supposed to use filtered water ? I've noticed some of my windows are sort of streaky. I am not sure if that is due to skill issue or the water. Going to keep practicing though!

Also, where can the cleaning solution be tossed? (palm olive)

Some cleaners use filtered water . But I don’t bother . Most don’t . It’s just an unnecessary expense . Regarding g the cleaning solution, I reckon palm olive tossed all over the glass is as good as it gets . I think there’s a few lads on here are experts in that technique. Some of em even get there wife’s to do it .

Think he is starting off as a Trad guy, we have all been there. I watched videos on Utube when I began with Trad and then watched videos of WFP.

On the off chance you are genuine (if not try again on April 1st  ;D) ignore the nasty boys.

If you are genuine come back by telling us what you have done to get into window cleaning and you will likely get some help.
It's a game of three halves!

Just do whatever Scottish does and you'll be fine. He's very successful you know.
We look at them, they look through them.

You must be psychic because this has been my best year by far and last week my best week. 2 scaffold jobs and the rest on the glass and still can't fit everyone in before Christmas. 3 big jobs so far, booked in for next year and now I'm charging the correct prices. Only dilemma I have is do I go for MWB or LWB van when I bite the bullet and buy a nearly new or might even a new one with so much work coming in. 😜

Probably better going LWB, that way when it comes to the sign writing, you might just about fit in the services you offer😆
